Friday Lunch Café is a great source of community bonding at Camphill. This past July
4th our team of experienced and newbie chefs created an American flag capable of feeding 30 hungry mouths. This patriotic experience culminated in a festive red and white dessert of cream and fresh organic raspberries-straight from our garden.

Meet Laura Shumaker - critically acclaimed writer, activist and parent of Matthew, a participant in the Camphill Communities California Supported Living Program. Laura's column "City Brights" appears in the San Francisco Chronicle. She has a blog titled "Five Minutes for Special Needs" and is the author of A Regular Guy, a memoir about her journey as the mother of a child with autism.
