The Camphill Gala

This year, our gala event for Camphill California’s theme will be Hat’s Off to Camphill: A Garden Party. This will be our first ever daytime luncheon fundraiser, and we have a lot to celebrate-together and in person! We would be honored to have you join us as as a guest this year. Come for the fabulous Camphill songs and entertainment, the food and fancy drinks, the auction and our wonderful fund a need. No costume needed, just don’t forget to don a festive hat!

Over the years, our fundraisers have provided for a new pickup truck for the land team, renovated kitchens in our homes, and created beautiful lighted pathways that permit residents to walk safely side by side. One year we funded the Camphill Academy training, and more recently helped to renovate our pool area and build a beautiful Peace Pavilion, our “building without walls”, which has been a joy and a refuge for us all during the past two years.

Two years ago, we achieved our goal of completing a solar system for six Camphill homes, and last year we completed the project by installing batteries. These have increased the usefulness of the system by providing energy when the sun isn’t shining or during power outages, thus increasing our sustainability even more.
